Maine String Teachers and Players Association (formerly Maine ASTA) exists to support all string teachers and performers in Maine. Currently we have members from all over the state of Maine, teaching elementary, middle school and high school programs, as well as many private teachers. We hold a state-wide string festival every spring, in which over 600 students participate. We also have a wonderful String Camp, which this year is in our new location at Winthrop, ME at the YMCA Camp of Maine on Lake Cobbosee! This year we are launching a Fiddle Festival, to be held on March 20. More information is available on the MSTPA Fiddle Fest page.

Meetings are held quarterly and all members are encouraged to attend and contribute.
